Proud and Frightened
The Boy was just talking to me. I don't recall much of what was said. I do recall something about "polymerization" and how he wasn't sure how to spell it so he used "fusion" instead. I got scared. The rest was all fuzzy around the edges.
Did I mention that he's 8? And in the 3rd grade?
8 Things You Say:
Isn't that what michael Jackson went to jail for?
I think in the 3rd grade everyone I know was concerned about Garbage Pail Kids.
I'm new here, through BE. Are you a teacher? I am amazed by the eight year old as well. I work with 8 year old's all day and I'm still trying to get them to grasp the concept of an opinion. Amazing.
Glomgold- I had a huge Garbage Pail Kid collection. I can't believe they're selling them again. I also can't believe my mom threw out my cards.
Janet- No, I'm not a teacher. I have the utmost respect for teachers because I don't know how they keep their cool when dealing with many little kids. I haven't the patience for that. The Boy is my son.
what a precocious child! i see great things for him in the future..hehe
AKKKKKKK! That's scary/awesome at the same time. Start scouting tutors now, 9th grade is just around the corner and they assign tons of homework!
There's one good thing to be said about this: Scholarships.
Fusion, fission, polymerisation, ploymorphism, genius at 8.
